Microsoft launches Zune HD portable media player with touchscreen.

Microsoft has finally made an official announcement of launching

its Zune HD portable media player.At the beginning of this fall the

Zune HD will be available all across the United States.The

following are the features of the Zune HD portable media player:

It has a HD radio tuner and an organic light emitting diode(OLED)

touch screen.Microsoft announced that based on Windows CE it

will use the customized version of the internet explorer for its

touchscreen.

Portable can output video to an actual TV.The Zune HD supports

upto 720p,where the PSP outputs sub-DVD- quality video.

Apple ipod touch’s competes Microsoft Zune HD sporting a 3.6

inch OLED touchscreen,thus giving 16:9 aspect ratio with a

resolution of 480x272.The company has made it clear to

understand that 720p HD video files will be downscaled to fit the

480x272 resolution screen and it won’t exactly be HD videos.
