NASA introduces the Green Flight Challenge.

The Comparative Aircraft Flight Efficiency(CAFÉ) and the NASA
Innovative partnerships Program have introduced the launching of
the Green Aircraft Challenge.This competition of flight capabilities
for aircraft is that it should average at least 100 miles per hour on
a 200 mile flight besides a successful performance of more than
200 miles per gallon.

The competition will take place in the month of July 2011,at the
Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport in Santa Rosa,California
U.S.A.NASA has kept a prize money for the aircraft which is 1.5
Million US$ for its efficiency and top performance.A diversity of
different changes in experimental aircrafts using hybrid propulsion,
solar,electrical,and biofuel.

Many aircraft builders and large universities have shown great
interest to put team members of those group in the Challenge.
To win the competition the team member should make use of the
latest available technology in aircraft structural designs,
thermodynamics,mechanical,electrical engineering and
aerodynamics.

Challenge as a national display of “Green”technology is expected
to bring ahead first step in making less severe all three of the
climatic conditions ie:zero carbon energy sources,conservation,and
efficiency.CAFE is dedicated to bring forward the understanding of
personal aircraft technologies through education,analytical studies
and research.

CAFÉ was established in the year1981 as a non profit organization.
The Green Flight Challenge is managed by CAFÉ for the NASA.
And as part of the Centennial Challenges program NASA takes total
