Students from Cambridge University have designed a New Solar
Power Car which uses the same amount of energy as used in a hair
dryer can cruise at 60 miles per hour.The Formula I Championship
leader Jenson Button launched the car at the Goodwill Festival of
Speed.The car has been named “Endeavour.”
In this coming autumn the Endeavour will be competing across
Australia’s Outback in the 3000 Kms World Solar Challenge Race.
The Solar car uses high efficiency silicon cells on its roof,which
thereby captures all the power it requires from the solar energy.
Anthony Law who is the group manager said,”UK’s 35% of the
energy use is done by transportation, so on the climate change
there could be a big impact of on such areas.The solar car is priced
